wordradar
MCP-first keyword radar — new-word ledger, HN site radar, SERP scoring, Trends risers
What it is
wordradar is a keyword radar for indie SEO hackers. While classic tools sell you monthly-volume lookups on words that already exist, wordradar flags words the week they first appear in a 1M-word suggest corpus — before volumes even exist to look up.
The data surfaces
| Surface | What you get |
|---|---|
| Word Ledger | 1M-word corpus ledger: first-seen dates, new / re-spiking / evergreen typing, direction tags (AI / tools / games), site-matching column |
| New Site Radar | Every domain showing up on Hacker News — free-hosting flag, points, first-seen |
| Proxy-KD | Feed a top-10 SERP, get a 0-100 difficulty score (free subdomains, UGC, brands, deep vs shallow pages — weights open) |
| Trends Risers | Rising queries with Breakout flags from our Trends capture pipeline |
| Domain Timeline | RDAP × Wayback per domain: segments, gaps, drop-and-rebind detection |
| Stripe Leaderboard | The official Stripe referral leaderboard, monthly snapshots |
Quickstart
- Get an invite code (private beta) and sign up
- Create an API key: account menu → API Keys (shown once — save it)
- Call it:
# free endpoint — no key needed
curl https://YOUR_DOMAIN/api/v1/ledger/pulse
# 1 credit
curl https://YOUR_DOMAIN/api/v1/ledger/words?type=新词 -H "Authorization: Bearer wr_..."
# MCP (same tools as REST)
# point Claude/Cursor at https://YOUR_DOMAIN/mcp with Bearer wr_...Honest notes
- Proxy-KD weights are uncalibrated — use for relative comparison, not absolute truth
- Trends data is a capture cache (see
fetched_at), not a live API - "First seen" = first appearance in the suggest corpus, not a Trends-based notion
See API reference and MCP guide.
